DESCRIPTION A complete control system designed for two electronic Perkins 635kVA generators for parallel (MINT) application, this project being complex in its operation required the addition of a remotely mounted control system within the switchroom, the switchroom located 120 meters from the generators communicated via CAN bus to three ComAp InteliMains controllers. Two InteliMains controllers are used for mains monitoring and paralleling the generators to the two mains supplies, complimented with NPU FUV G59 relays to satisfy the local electricity supplier, the remaining InteliMains is incorporated to the solution for bus tie paralleling. The ComAp Systems solution incorporating a PLC to provide Load shedding and monitor the breaker system.
