The design and build of a complete power system, the 8 meter switchboard is a replacement to the existing switchboard, the new solution incorporates two new generator feeds to provide an alternative stand-by supply to be used.

The power upgrade included two new 1600kVA transformers; the system has two mains feeds, four building feeders and a bus-tie breaker system.
All breakers are automatically controlled depending on the system requirements, starting the gen-sets on a mains failure and providing stand-by power to the main ASDA centre in Leeds, the system can if required parallel the two generators as a MINT pair and has the expandability to parallel the generator
